bridge with a new earth on the other side

In every thought and feeling, we are laying the foundations on a blank canvas for the New Human and the New Earth. -- Pam Gregory (Evolutionary Astrologer)

We are standing at an exhilarating crossroads in human history!

It’s clear that we can no longer fix the issues of the “old system.” So, what do we do? We let it crumble and make space for the new things we truly desire. It’s all about shifting our perspective to see the beauty in rebuilding.

The new begins with us, just as we are—unique and wonderfully imperfect. Together, we can create fresh systems, vibrant communities, new currencies, and forms of education and governance that come from a place of love and empowerment.

As author Yung Pueblo reminds us in his book Lighter,

Ultimately, the future will be designed by those bold enough to start modeling the world we want to live in without waiting for permission. -- Yung Pueblo

Imagine! We have a blank canvas in front of us, ready to paint a new Earth, a new Consciousness, a new Paradigm.

This shift has been hinted at in various belief systems—be it astrology, human design, numerology, or even different religions. It’s remarkable that we get to witness this transformation in our own lifetimes!

I’ve been captivated by the idea of the New Paradigm since diving into Human Design in 2020. Fast forward five years, and this system is gaining traction because it resonates so deeply with the changes we’re experiencing. Just like ceremonial cacao is also re-entering the human consciousness, offering itself as a gentle, loving ally when we need it most.

Speaking of Human Design, 2027 is said to be a pivotal year, marking the transition to what’s called The Cross of the Sleeping Phoenix.

It’s a beautiful metaphor—first, we need to awaken to the darker truths of our past and to the concept of a false matrix that we've been trapped in, and then, like a phoenix, we’ll rise from the ashes into the powerful, whole beings we're born to be.

We must emerge from the mental slumber we've been programmed into in order to transcend our own limitations.

As we navigate these cycles of change, I’ve become interested in the bridge between the old and the new worlds.

In my astrology chart, Pluto resides in Libra—a gentle balancing point. A mediator. A bridge where the old meets the new. It’s that magical space where the Piscean Age gives way to the Aquarian Age, or where humanity is moving from the dark times of the Kali Yuga into the light of the Dwapara Yuga (the Golden Age!)

Many of us from Generation X—born between 1971 and 1983—share this placement. Pluto transits symbolize significant shifts in collective behavior, and I truly believe we’re the lucky ones here to help bridge these realities and guide others toward something more beautiful, even if it’s still unknown.

But remember, crossing over is a choice; everyone has their own free will.

Of course, being in that middle sphere can be challenging. Sometimes, it feels like we don't quite fit in with either side. I’ve definitely felt like the black sheep among my family and society and despite that inner knowing and have not always had the inner trust to act on my intuition. Well, the time to hesitate or question ourselves is over.

If we heed the call and embrace our role as the bridge, we can tune into the energies, thoughts, and emotions that will help lay the groundwork for our new Earth. Especially because we are fortunate enough to have lived with both technology and in-person connection (before the 2000s) so can relate equally to generations before and after us, and find welcoming ways to share our message.

We might not see the physical signs of this transformation just yet, and it can feel like we’re surrounded by destruction, chaos and despair. But the more we infuse our collective future with love, unity and understanding, the stronger the foundation we’re building together.

If you’re engaging in any small, loving actions—whether outwardly or inwardly— take a moment to thank yourself. Your beautiful ripples are felt by all. Truly. The power of individual action is growing, and the light we bring can truly outshine the darkness. It can also help clear ancestral trauma that we're still carrying.

Sending blessings to you, fellow Generation Xer, or anyone stepping up as a bridge to our future.

The new is already here; we just need to open our hearts to feel it.
